How do I install Radivelo?
On the home page, click Download free trial, open the downloaded Radivelo-Setup.exe and follow the installer. Radivelo then appears next to the clock on the taskbar and in the Start menu.
Edge or Windows warns about the download
That’s Microsoft SmartScreen, which is careful with apps that are new and not yet downloaded by many people. In Edge, open Downloads, click ⋯, then Keep, Show more and Keep anyway. If Windows then shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info and Run anyway.
I can’t see the radio icon next to the clock
Windows puts new icons under the small arrow (^). Radivelo shows a button that opens the right setting, or open Settings › Personalization › Taskbar › Other system tray icons and turn Radivelo on.
How do I add a station?
Click the radio icon, then +. On the Directory tab choose a country and search for a station; on the Link tab paste a direct stream URL. A link you have just copied is filled in automatically.
How does Radivelo update?
Once a day Radivelo checks whether a new version is available and lets you know. Click the radio icon and choose Update now. Windows asks for permission, then the update is installed and Radivelo restarts. You can also choose Check for updates in the ⋯ menu.
How do I enable launch at login?
Choose Launch at login in the ⋯ menu. You can also turn it off in Settings › Apps › Startup.
How do I uninstall Radivelo?
Settings › Apps › Installed apps › Radivelo › Uninstall. Your stations and settings are removed from the PC as well.
“This edition of Windows has no media components”
Windows “N” editions come without media playback. Install the free Media Feature Pack (Settings › Apps › Optional features › Add a feature) and start Radivelo again.
Mac
How do I add my first station?
Click the radio icon in the menu bar, then + at the bottom right. Choose a country and search for a station. Click + beside a result, return to your list and click the station to play.
How do I move or remove a station?
Drag the three-line handle beside a station to move it up or down. The star marks a favorite. The minus button removes it. You can also right-click and choose Move up or Move down.
How do I enable launch at login?
Choose Launch at login from the three-dot menu. If macOS asks for approval, allow it in System Settings. Install the app in Applications first.
How do I stop or quit Radivelo?
Pause disconnects the stream. To quit, choose Quit Radivelo from the three-dot menu. Your list is saved when you reopen the app; you start playback yourself.
How do I change the app language?
Open the three-dot menu, choose App language, then Slovenščina, English or Deutsch. The change takes effect immediately. Automatic follows your system’s preferred languages and falls back to English if none are supported.
For both systems
Which links can I paste?
Use a direct MP3, AAC or HLS audio stream URL that the provider permits in external players. A webpage or YouTube video link is not a direct radio stream URL. Radivelo does not extract audio from videos.
A station won’t connect or play.
Check your internet connection and try another station. The stream may be temporarily unavailable, restricted to a particular country or in an unsupported format. Check its URL on the official station website, then press Play again.
Why can’t I see the artist and track title?
Track information is shown when the stream sends it in a supported format. Some stations don’t provide it.
How will purchasing work?
You can use Radivelo free for the first 7 days. Once purchasing opens, you’ll buy a license on this site for €4.99 and receive a key by email. Versions from the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store are bought directly in the store.
